John J. Repa
Mr. Repa has more than three decades of experience in the gaming, hospitality, and tourism industries. He specializes in assisting public and private sector clients with development, transaction, operation, and strategic business planning matters. His practice includes a wide spectrum of advisory services. Among these are market analysis, feasibility studies, competitive impact assessments, operational reviews and analysis, strategic planning, and expert testimony in litigation. Mr. Repa’s consulting experience includes serving as the National Director and
Practice Leader of Hospitality and Gaming Advisory Services with KPMG LLP’s Real Estate and Hospitality Advisory Group, as well as working in the consulting division of Pannell Kerr Forster.
His corporate-level experience includes development and operations with ITT Sheraton (Marriott International), InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Pacifica Host Hotels, and S & A Restaurant Corporation.
In his corporate and consulting roles, Mr. Repa has conducted over 1,000 studies related to: land-based, riverboat, and tribal casinos; lotteries; limited- and full-service hotels; branded, boutique, and independent hotels; convention centers and hotels; resorts; stadiums; sports complexes; amphitheaters; performing arts centers; racetracks; and other hospitality facilities.
Mr. Repa is also President of Hospitality and Gaming Solutions LLC. He holds a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin.
